As of yesterday the lift on my Ford 1300 stopped lifting. It has worked fine until now. It will only lift right after the tractor is cranked and will not lift any implement. Any suggestions?

Check to see if theres a filter in the hyd system. If the filter is bad when you start the tractor it may work until pressure builds and re-clogs the filter. When the tractor sits overnight it may let the particulates fall away enough to get lift when restarted. Good luck. Scaper ....

Alot of tractors have a pickup screen inside the transmission/rear end housing. You have to drain the fluid. Then find where the suction line goes in housing. (The suction is the larger tube from hydraulic pump.) Unbolt the plate the tube is attached to & pull out screen & clean. It is fine mesh & may be plugged with moisture. Len,Check the operating lever to ensure it is not in the full lift position. I know this sounds simple, but my 1710 does the same thing your 1300 is doing if I let the lever go to full lift.Did anyone turn the flow control valve off?Good luck and let us know what you find. ....

I've checked and cleaned the screen, and changed the fluid. Neither of this worked. The lift will not even hold up its own weight unless the drop is set to its slowest level. Does this sound like a pump, or rings? ....
